My Unique Style Of Photography: The style of photography that I shoot can be described as traditional with a photo-journalistic touch. I am constantly working to capture the unique personality of the people I photograph, like you. Every wedding has its true beauty Its my job capture that beauty in the wedding photographs. People Often Call Me Invisible: In doing all of this I manage to stay invisible. Its important to me that I am not the main focus at the wedding. The main focus should be on the bride and groom, and this is my goal. I am a very hard worker and at the same time very easy to talk to and deal with overall. I am also great at helping ease nervous people so the portraits look great. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding by letting your friends and family do what they do naturally. As a wedding photographer I spend most of my time with the bride so it’s very important to be able to get along well with the person that will be at your side on your very special, personal day. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion. Then my passion became my profession, and I founded JJ Photography in Austin TX in 1999. Since then I have continued to challenge myself and perfect my work. I put my heart and soul into capturing every image and, therefore, each photograph I create is a reflection of me. Although I specialize in different types of shoots, I love weddings — To me, weddings are an incredibly beautiful time in a person’s life. Jackie and I have been working together as partners for about 15 years now. I am excited to be a part of JJ Photography’s team as a Wedding Photographer for weddings booked in the Austin and Houston area. I began my photography career in 1999, when I was hired by the Texas Renaissance Festival to shoot a portion of the Festival’s weddings, theatrical plays, and other entertainment for the following year’s marketing brochures. I met Jackie in Austin, Texas in 2000, we were paired up at that time at a Portrait Studio specializing in Senior Portraits. In 2002 our family was blessed with a beautiful addition and we decided to move closer to our family which brought us to Richmond, Texas. I continue my love for photography shooting weddings, seniors, families and just your good old special occasions.
